What is a Smartboard?

Smart Board is an interactive electronic whiteboard, which is a colorful tool that is great for demonstrations. The touch-sensitive display connects to your computer and digital projector to show your computer image. You can then control computer applications directly from the display, write notes in digital ink and save your work to share later. Here is a Smartboard Demo through YouTube that will you help understand how to use the Smartboard on a deeper level.

History and Inventor of the Smartboard?

Smart Technologies was originally created by David Martin and Nancy Knowlton. At first, the company sold projectors in order to pay for creating the first SMART Board interactive whiteboard. Sure enough, in 1991 the first SMART Board was created. SMART Technologies merged with the Intel Corporation in 1992, in order to get the SMART products out to the public more adequately.
